Dr. Arthur Reingold is on the faculty of the School of Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley, where he is currently Professor of Epidemiology and Head of the Division of Epidemiology. Dr. Reingold also holds appointments as Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). His research interests primarily focus on infectious diseases and their prevention and control in the United States and in developing countries.
Prior to joining the UC Berkeley faculty, Dr. Reingold was part of the Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where he worked as a medical epidemiologist. He received his undergraduate, graduate, and medical education at the University of Chicago.
