Francine Coeytaux has over three decades of experience in the development and evaluation of family planning and comprehensive reproductive health programs. Throughout her career she has worked to empower women to manage their reproductive health and rights and has pioneered the use of acceptability research to give voice to women in the shaping of public health agendas. She has published extensively including on abortion, new contraceptive technologies, and access to reproductive health services, particularly in Sub‐Saharan Africa.
