National Director of Nutrition, K12 Education
As a Registered and Licensed Dietitian, Linda is responsible for nutrition program planning and development, including menus and related programs that support the ARAMARK Education health and wellness initiatives. She works closely with Supply Chain and Distribution, Culinary Development Chefs, Dietitians and Marketing groups, providing professional guidance on nutrition and regulatory compliance for product specifications and recipe development to support ARAMARK’s Wellness platform.
Linda completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Health and Nutrition at the Pennsylvania State University and began her professional career as a School Food Service Director. She later successfully completed a Dietetic Internship and a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science at the University of Washington that led to several years as a manager and clinician in a variety of healthcare settings. After moving to Pennsylvania, she operated her own Nutrition Consulting practice and was on the faculty at Albright College and The Pennsylvania State University for several years before returning to healthcare management. Since joining ARAMARK in 1997, Linda spent 9 years in Aramark’s Healthcare Division in positions ranging from Operations Support to District Manager before joining the K-12 Education Division in her current role in 2006.
