Nayanjeet Chaudhury, MD, MPH, Senior Technical Advisor – Global Best Practices, India Dr. Nayanjeet Chaudhury has over 18 years of experience in diverse clinical, public health and research settings. As a Global Health Leaders fellow, Dr. Chaudhury provides technical and strategic support to Medtronic Foundation’s global health programs, namely HealthRise and HeartRescue. He provides both technical support to these programs in the region and advisory on best practices for Medtronic Foundation programs internationally. Dr. Chaudhury’s capstone project for the fellowship program is focused on adolescent nutrition promotion in India. Immediately prior to joining PHI, he acted as Director of Monitoring and Evaluation and Health Services Delivery—in addition to serving as strategic non-communicable disease (NCD) lead—at Population Services International, India. He has served as a member of the Training Advisory Group at the University of Alabama, where he has provided guidance on capacity-building for improving NCD research in India since 2011. He specializes in addressing complex, large scale health problems through the lenses of a clinician, an epidemiologist and a socio-behavioral scientist. Dr. Chaudhury is a Doctor of Medicine in Community Medicine from Pramukhswami Medical College and holds a Master’s in Public Health from the Hadassah-Braun School of Public Health and Community Medicine.
