A trusted advisor and implementation strategist for community, business and nonprofit leaders, Lolita M. Ross, MPPA, PMP, has nearly 20 years of experience in social innovations, population health solutions, applied equity strategies and community development. Prior to joining NNPHI as Chief Program Officer, Lolita founded SHARED Strategy Group, LLC, a national practitioner consortium that provides technical assistance to support social innovations. Her work includes achievements in the implementation of multi-sector strategies in rural, coastal, and urban communities leading to the development of sustainable models for systems change work to address social determinants of health.
Additionally, Lolita lead the design and implementation of capacity building strategies for philanthropic grantees as Director of Southern Strategies; implemented multi-state/multi-country continuum of care management programs with McKesson Health Solutions; served as founding Executive Director for the Mississippi Association of Community Action Agencies and the Mississippi Asset Building Coalition; implemented Head Start program reviews; served on the Board of Directors for the National Center for Appropriate Technology; lead development planning with the Jackson Redevelopment Authority; and countless other experiences contributing to improved conditions in communities across the country.
Lolita holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy & Administration and PMP credentials.
