Bob has worked in communications and outreach in the global health arena for nearly 13 years. In his current position with GHFP-II he is responsible for strategy and staffing of outreach events around the country including conferences, career fairs, information sessions and virtual events such as webinars and video sessions. Recent events where GHFP-II had a significant presence include the Consortium of Universities for Global Health Annual Conference,  American Public Health Association Annual Conference, the PhD Masters Virtual Career Fair and the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey Career Fair, as well as exhibiting at the Unite for Sight Health and Innovation Conference at Yale.

His focus is to connect with individuals, especially students, interested in furthering their careers in the field of global health. GHFP-II has approximately 120 active fellows and will have a cohort of 35 interns this summer working with the US Agency for International Development in the Global Health Bureau in Washington, DC and overseas, primarily in Africa and Southeast Asia. GHFP-II also offers one-on-one informational interviews by phone and webinars throughout the year that focus on different aspects of global health work.
