Danyelle Solomon is the Vice President of Race and Ethnicity Policy at the Center for American Progress. Her work focuses on structural reforms to improve outcomes for people of color in our economic, social and civic systems. Her work has been focused on policies that close the racial wealth gap, protect voting rights, ensure police accountability and move the conversation beyond diversity to equity and inclusion. Prior to joining CAP, Solomon worked at the Brennan Center for Justice, the White House Office of Drug Control Policy and the United States Senate as Counsel to Senator Benjamin L. Cardin. She obtained her law degree from Pennsylvania State University and her B.A. at the University of Miami.
