Miguel Vazquez
Health Equity Urban and Regional Planner
Riverside University Health System-Public Health (RUHS-PH)
Over the past two decades, Mr. Vazquez has provided professional planning and community development services to the private, public, and military sectors. His role at RUHS-PH is to strengthen the integration of planning and health through collaboration with non-traditional partners. The American Planning Association (APA) and affiliates have recognized his work and leadership with numerous awards, including the 2018 APA President’s Award and the 2020 APA California Distinguished Contribution Award. He is also a recipient of the 2021 Dale Prize. He is an alum of the California Academy for the Public’s Health’s first cohort.
