Sam Bent Weber is a Public Health Analyst and Lead for Research Innovation and Workforce Capacity Building with the Public Health Law Program (PHLP). PHLP is based in the Division of Partnership Support of the CDC’s new National State, Tribal, Local and Territorial Public Health Infrastructure and Workforce Center (the “Public Health Infrastructure Center”). She was previously the Acting Health Equity Officer for the Public Health Infrastructure Center. She specializes in the development of legal tools for and the provision of legal technical assistance to public health agencies and communities around the country. Sam earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Harvard College in Social Studies and African American Studies. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship with the Satcher Health Leadership Institute at the Morehouse School of Medicine.
