Shannon Baker is the director of advocacy for the American Lung Association, where she works to prevent lung disease and improve lung health by advocating for proven public policies. She has held positions in both development and advocacy since joining the American Lung Association in 2016. Leveraging over 20 years of earlier career experience in government relations in the federal, state, local and international arenas, Shannon is responsible for planning, development and implementation of the public policy initiatives for the American Lung Association in Kentucky, Tennessee and Arkansas, as well as supporting the association’s federal policy priorities.
