Shannon Ladner-Beasley, MPH, is manager of Contra Costa Health Services’ Health Career Pathways, which seeks to create a career pipeline from low-income communities most affected by health inequities. In this role, she oversees the Public Health Solutions Project which provides education to high school students about health equity and careers in public health and offers paid internships in the field. Shannon has chaired regional and school district leadership teams and fostered an extensive network of community and educational partnerships that prioritize the voices of residents of all ages in designing effective health programs, policies, and practices that cultivate an environment of opportunity.
