Tonya Wood, PhD

Dr. Wood is Director of Clinical Training in the Graduate School of Education and Psychology at Pepperdine University and has provided extensive lectures, training teaching and supervision on various subjects including trauma informed care, cultural diversity, clinical supervision, psychological assessment and professional development.
After earning her Ed.S degree in School Psychology at the University of Georgia in 1994, Dr. Wood completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Virginia in 2000. She then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center Department of Psychiatry.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Wood is President-Elect of the California Psychological Association and is currently a member of the Mental Health Professional Group of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.
