Ragain is responsible for educating and engaging elected officials, policymakers, government agencies, and direct service providers to take action in order to reduce food access barriers. She also examines opportunities to increase advocacy with critical health system influencers.
Prior to joining the organization, Ragain worked at the March of Dimes in Missouri as the State Director of Program Services, Advocacy and Government Affairs, where she implemented a multi-year plan aimed at reducing Missouri’s preterm birth rate.
