Vanessa Georges receives medically-tailored meals from Community Servings in Massachusetts. Vanessa was diagnosed with cancer in July 2018, and has been a client of Community Servings for one year. She was born and raised in Worcester, and although she’s lived in other parts of the country, moved back to Massachusetts for its health care and education systems. She is a single mother of a 20-year-old son who’s at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. Lastly, Vanessa is no stranger to the health care world even before her diagnosis; she worked in health care software project management for 30 years.
