At the conclusion of this Web Forum, participants will be able to:

  • Utilize tools developed by LuCa National Training Network, GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer and numerous other organizations for:

    • determining patient eligibility for CT lung cancer screening (CTLS)a

    • offering video/online patient education about CTLS prior to shared decision-making (SDM)

    • conducting brief and up to date SDM discussions with current benefits and risks

    • referring for CTLS to appropriate facilities

    • treating tobacco use effectively with pharmacotherapy, brief counseling, and external assistance

    • managing screening results with Lung-RADS

    • partnering with specialists for whole-patient care during lung cancer treatment

  • Describe resources to support patients and caregivers during the process of lung cancer detection, diagnosis, and treatment

  • Identify opportunities for peer learning and/or technical assistance that can help strengthen a lung cancer screening program

  • Access free live and recorded CME/CE offerings for primary care providers and other clinicians
