A National Lung Cancer Screening Model for Hospitals and Health Systems - If Kentucky Can Do It, Anyone Can!

This free one-hour Web Forum will provide important information to share with patients about lung cancer screening regarding possible follow-up procedures, based on comprehensive data from long-term screening performance in clinical practice. The presenters will also discuss recommendations for referring providers in management of lung screening results, as well as the benefits to primary care providers of screening program patient navigation.

At the conclusion of this Web Forum, participants will be able to:

  • Describe accurate data needed for the shared decision-making conversation from one of the largest clinical CT lung screening U.S. programs regarding possible follow-up pulmonary procedures.

  • Explain the rationale behind radiologist recommendations for incidental findings.
