Building on the insights from our first webinar on AI in Public Health, the second webinar in the three webinar series takes AI from the conceptual into the actual applications to advance public health.  Artificial intelligence has the potential to reshape the landscape of public health—from data modernization and predictive analytics to ethical policy development and community engagement. Philip Huang, MD, MPH
Director of Health and Human Services for Dallas County, Dr. Huang has been a pioneer, championing data modernization and transparency to build public trust. He will present real-world examples of AI in action at the local level, including its current and future role in pandemic response, forecasting, and community health strategies.

Tatiana Lin, MA
Director of Business Strategy and Innovation at the Kansas Health Institute, Tatiana Lin is a leading voice in ethical AI policy development. She will discuss frameworks for bias mitigation, human oversight, and responsible use of generative AI in public health operations, drawing from her work on statewide AI roadmaps and APHA policy development.
