As BCPP’s director of science, Dr. Sharima Rasanayagam works to ensure that the organization continues to be a national leader in science-based environmental health advocacy. She oversees all of the organization’s science-related activities, including monitoring and interpreting emerging scientific research, representing the organization in key scientific bodies, developing and managing science-related program and policy initiatives, and providing scientific guidance on the development of new programmatic initiatives
