It Starts with Us: Trust, Partnership, and Shared Action in Community Health

Join us to learn how public health leaders, like Megan Black from the Merced County Department of Public Health, and community leaders, like Sol Rivas from Valley Onward, as they reflect on the origins of their partnerships, lessons learned from working together during and after the pandemic, and strategies for maintaining meaningful collaboration over time. Through real-world examples, panelists will explore the roles of leadership, trust-building, community, and a shared vision in creating partnerships that extend beyond funding cycles. Participants will gain insights into how public health departments and community-based organizations can continue advancing community health through authentic, long-term collaboration.
