Michelle King serves as a program director in Injury Prevention Services with RUHS-PH where she oversees the Workforce and Staff Development programs. Michelle’s responsibilities include a lead role in creating the RUHS-PH Community Health Worker Hub. Additionally, she coordinates and leads all workforce development and workforce resiliency efforts, including grant management, consultation, and assistance on workforce development matters. Prior to working for public health, Michelle spent over 20 years working in education including playing a key role in building the School of Continuing Studies at the University of Redlands in Redlands, CA.
Michelle received her bachelor’s degree in political science and holds a master’s degree in public administration. Michelle has been married to her high school sweetheart for 35 years. She has three children and eight grandchildren.
