Lucero Montoya serves as the Director of Operations with Riverside University Health System (RUHS) - Public Health where she oversees the daily operations of the Community Health Worker Program. She is dedicated to uplifting the community and addressing challenges in the healthcare system. Prior to working for Public Health, she worked with RUHS-Behavioral Health, implementing California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) initiatives such as Enhanced Care Management and Community Supports for behavioral health and justice-involved populations.
Lucero began her government career with San Bernardino County where she was responsible for managing various homeless and housing grants under the County’s Community Development and Housing Department.
Lucero received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from California State University, San Bernardino. She enjoys cycling, photography, and spending time with her family.
