Bill is currently serving as Denver’s Department of Public Health and Environment Emergency Management and Medical Operations Division Director. In this role, Bill leads emergency preparedness and response activities for Denver’s local public health department. During emergency incidents Bill is responsible for the operation of a Department Operations Center (DOC) and the department’s Incident Management Team. Bill also serves as a federal intermittent emergency responder on one of Health and Human Services Incident Management Teams and is credentialed as a Planning Section Chief.
