Brian identifies as a nonbinary/queer individual. He is a co-founder of The Source LGBT+ Center, its first Board Chair, and became its first Executive Director in 2017. The Source LGBT+ Center just celebrated 6 years of serving the queer and trans community and has over 30 programs and services. In 2018 Brian was awarded “Community Leader of the Year” by ACT for Women and Girls. Under Brian’s leadership the Source has grown from a grassroots organization with a $20,000 annual budget to the largest LGBTQ+ center between LA and Sacramento, with an annual budget of $2.7 million.
