Jean Paul Roggiero
Director of Community Outreach, Healthcare Network
Jean Paul Roggiero has more than 25 years of experience working in healthcare with a specialty in planning and implementing emergency management programs. He is currently the Director of Community Outreach Department at Healthcare Network of SWFL. Prior to his current role, Jean Paul Roggiero served as Acute Care Practice Manager at David Lawrence Center, where he led the Crisis Stabilization and Baker Act receiving unit, as well as its inpatient substance abuse detox and residential Crossroads program. Prior to moving to Florida, he was the Senior Program Manager at Primary Care Development Corporation overseeing its Emergency Management Program for nine years.
He has a master’s degree in public administration in emergency and disaster management from Metropolitan College of New York and a bachelor’s degree in dietetics, foods, and nutrition from Herbert H. Lehman College. Jean Paul Roggiero has published articles and presented at national conferences about emergency management. The Outreach Team (formerly the COVID-19 Response Team) continues to provide health screenings at community events. The team also collaborates with Healthcare Network’s departments including but not limited to Chronic Care Management team, clinical providers and pharmacy with home visits and makes referrals to medical care and social support services, as needed.
