Kim Prendergast, RDN, MPP
Vice President, Social Health, Community Care Cooperative
Kim Prendergast is Vice President for Social Health for Community Care Cooperative (C3), a Federally Qualified Health Center-led Accountable Care Organization (ACO). In this role, she leads the ACO’s strategic and policy initiatives addressing social drivers of health, building partnerships across the healthcare and social services sectors. Kim has been instrumental in designing and implementing the organization’s $20M Flexible Services partnerships and contracts, working with more than twenty-five community organizations to support C3 members experiencing food insecurity, housing instability, and homelessness.
Prior to joining C3, Kim spent two decades addressing food insecurity and health with Feeding America through roles in public policy, nutrition programs, and healthcare partnership consulting. She also served as Executive Director of the MetroWest Free Medical Program, a free health clinic in the Greater Boston area. During her 12-year tenure, she led the organization’s community partnerships, fundraising, volunteer management, and expansion of clinical services.
