Brandon Davidson is a prevention strategist, public health leader, and Executive Director of Next Step Community Solutions, a Texas nonprofit advancing youth mental health across rural East Texas through the power of upstream, strengths-based prevention. He leads a team delivering school-based counseling, suicide prevention, and substance misuse prevention serving 25 school districts on more than 90 campuses across 20-plus counties. Each year the organization reaches over 18,000 students, all in rural communities that face a shortage of mental health providers.
A National Leadership Academy for the Public's Health alumnus (Cohort 11) and Sources of Strength Master Trainer, Brandon's work is reshaping how rural communities build cultures of connection, resilience, and hope for young people.
