Quanza Wilson, MPA, is a public health leader with 25 years of experience advancing environmental health initiatives and building partnerships to improve health outcomes. She serves as Unit Lead for Strategic Priorities and Innovation within the Lead Poisoning Prevention and Surveillance Branch at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In this role, she leads strategic initiatives that help communities prevent childhood lead poisoning, strengthen public health capacity, and build partnerships to address environmental health challenges.
Quanza partners with national organizations, Pacific Island jurisdictions, tribal organizations, state and local health departments, and community-based organizations to develop and implement evidence-based public health strategies. Her work focuses on partnership development, strategic planning, systems-level change, and strengthening public health approaches to address complex environmental health issues. Quanza is a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) candidate at the University of Georgia with a focus on health policy, management, and leadership.
