Rachel Culbreth, PhD, MPH

Research Director, ToxIC


Rachel joined the Toxicology Investigators Consortium/ACMT in May 2022. Rachel received her PhD and MPH in epidemiology and biostatistics from Georgia State University. She also was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Respiratory Therapy at Georgia State University from 2019-2022, where she taught undergraduate and graduate-level research methods and clinical supervision for respiratory therapy students. She has conducted multiple research projects on substance use and health disparities through internal and external grants. She’s worked with substance use disorders in both the U.S. and internationally.

Rachel serves as the Research Director for ToxIC, leading new grants, research projects, and data analyses for papers and presentations. She currently resides in Atlanta with her daughter and husband.
